Bhojwani Universal Impex Pvt. Ltd. (BUIPL) traces its establishment back to 1992. Jagdish Bhojwani set up BUIPL with the objective of exporting Indian goods to Africa in the early days. He was guided by his father, T K Bhojwani – a veteran, highly experienced, and successful entrepreneur. This expert guidance helped young Jagdish Bhojwani put his company on a solid footing with sound business practices. The difference was in the way he approached each opportunity. Agility and control became the watchwords for all endeavours undertaken.
Jagdish Bhojwani explored the needs of nascent African markets and began exporting a range of products. From pharma-related equipment, packaging, and API and excipients, to polymers and polymer resins, to engineering equipment, BUIPL became the name to remember when one needed to do business in Africa.
While the company has had a steady growth curve over the decades, expanding its markets and product categories, the recent years have been particularly noteworthy. Even in the years of the COVID-19 pandemic, BUIPL with its focus on business objectives continued to not just sustain but also boost its growth rate – by reaching out to new markets and exploring new product categories.

Flagship Bhojwani Universal Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been conferred the status of 2 Star Export House by the Govt. of India. While the group has a global presence, its focus areas are Asia and Africa. Its operations span many categories of trading, manufacturing, logistics, and services. While the nature of the group is entrepreneurial, key personnel are tasked with keeping it growing and competitive.
Jagdish Bhojwani leads the companies within the group to newer markets and businesses, making it a well-diversified group. The company gradually expanded its network from Nigeria to surrounding markets in West Africa. Today, it trades with business houses in Nigeria, China, and other African and Asian markets. From sourcing goods from India, the company has expanded its network to the USA, Europe, Canada, and beyond.
As a professional player in the import-export segment, BUIPL now trades across continents, meeting the business standards and governmental protocols across countries.
